As of April 20th, 2017, I've tried to reach this hotel via every phone number I could find on google, their website, and trip advisor. My assumption is that this hotel in no longer in operation...beware of booking online as it is still active!
I went to Wheeler to see my fiancé, who works in the oil field, and stayed 4 days and 3 nights with my 18 month old son. The place was so nice and comfortable. Not at all generic like a motel, and the breakfast was delicious every morning. I paid significantly less then what the motel on the edge of town charged per night. We loved staying there and are hoping to get to stay every other weekend.
Great place to stay. Very clean, comfortable beds a good value. They even provided a little sewing kit and I needed to make a small jeans repair (I am male and do not sew) that came in very handy. AC fan will run continually, no off and on bs.
I have confirmed with my aunt who lives in Wheeler that this establishment is closed! do NOT book online!
Great little place. Was very quiet and comfortable. Will definitely be back again.
